A Clockwork Orange Poster
This was one of my two sketched for A Clockwork Orange.
I wanted to play with Half-tone Color shifts.
I'm going to explore this grid and color combination in more detail with tragic images (that the character had to view) putting you the viewer in a similar place as the main character being "cured." I will include an eye to emphasize that you're forced to look at these images.
Any feedback would be great!

i think the repeated images aren't really working as well as they could be right now, just because they feel off-kilter with the extreme darks going on at the lefthand edges of the different frames. its a little distracting.
ReplyDeletei really like this grid you have going on though, and i love the color shifts.
You picked great shades of orange, and the eyes are really captivating. Creepy, really! Which is great considering your movie.
ReplyDeleteThe composition feels static with the strict square format of the photos. Try to push the typography because it could activate the white space along the bottom. Maybe a scale change in one of those lines could add the illusion of depth.
