I tried cleaning the pictograms up and pushing them to a rougher point.
I haven't really come up with a good replacement for "quality" yet. Which is really categorizing the food I ate into organic, raw, vegetarian etc vs containing corn syrup, artificial sugars etc. Any ideas??

I've been working more on my pictograms, still not sure how they're working. Opinions would be appreciated!

Pictograms

Sorry I didn't post these to the blog sooner. I emailed my first round of pictograms. My categories were
Calls: Missed, Received, Dialed,
Texts: Sent, Received.

Right now I feel like the Text hands look a bit like turkey legs or funky arms coming out of the phone. Any Feedback would be great.
Thanks
I know I'm a little behind the times in terms of posting these...
But I decided to focus on Transportation and then break it down by:
walking
-how long
-how often
-how/why was it fun
riding my bike
-how long
-how often
-how/why was it fun
airplane
-how long
-how often
-how/why was it fun
lightrail
-how long
-how often
-how/why was it fun
car
-how long
-how often
-how/why was it fun

For my pictograms, I wanted to focus mainly on energy and motion. I feel like orange arrows tie them all together highlighting the idea that transportation is about movement and direction.
As for the color, I'd ultimately want the orange to be super fluorescent like street signs might be.

Graph

I wanted to play around with the Illustrator Graph Capabilities as I'm more Interested in using graphs as visualization more so than my pictograms.

This is a pretty basic one as it was my first, but any feedback on Color, Style, Type, layout would be great. Also if anyone knows other programs for creating graphs.

Happy Halloween!
